With a winning combination of crystal clear blue eyes and unmistakable dark features, Christian James looks like he's straight out of a perfume ad, and one Mr. Man would actually dab on, if it made him turn into Christian. Cut abs, curly hair, and the ability to wear a five o’clock shadow even at nine a.m., the Georgia native made his first on-screen appearance as Police Officer #2 in the TV docuseries Swamp Murders in 2013. His first feature film was the horror flick Dorchester’s Revenge: The Return of Crinoline Head (2014, and no, Mr. Man does not know, nor does he want to know, what a crinoline head is). The movie was also known as Dollface, and Christian lost his shirt on the dock of a lake. He played Donovan in the series Freefall from 2014-2015, then brought in a few paychecks via more docuseries, playing Scott Barker in Snapped: Killer Couples in 2015, and Mike Bargo in #killerpost in 2016. He was a football player in the movie Hot Summer Nights (2017) with Timothée Chalamet, and Kit Chambers in Legal Action (2018) with Eric Close, which leads us to Christian’s next skintillating scene, via the series Nashville (Eric was a series regular). In the primetime show, Christian plays Dan, the man with whom gay cowboy singer Will Lexington (played by Chris Carmack) has a bedded moment, everyone shirtless and pretty. Be on the lookout for projects with Christian Ballis, too, since Christian James seems to have taken on this alias, for a project here and there.
