There’s nothing common about Common. Also known as Common Sense, the rapper was born in Chicago under the name Lonnie Rashid Lynn. Despite the success of his albums (Can I Borrow a Dollar? and Resurrection), Common maintained an underground status. But when the Soulquarians star released Like Water for Chocolate (2000), mainstream success, big-name collaborations (Erykah Badu, Kanye West), and Grammys followed. Never one to rest on his laurels, the bearded babe moved on to movies. After making cameos as himself in the rom-com Brown Sugar (2002) and the documentary Dave Chappelle’s Block Party (2006), Common was cast as Turner Lucas in the biopic American Gangster (2007) starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. He then appeared in the 2008 thrillers Street Kings with Keanu Reeves and Wanted with James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, Angelina Jolie, Terence Stamp, and Chris Pratt. Common then exposed his… sense of humor in the comedies Date Night (2010), Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016), and Girls Trip (2017). In between, he could be seen in the action flicks Suicide Squad (2016) and John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017). Common showed off his serious side in the dramas Selma (2014), The Hate U Give (2018), and All About Nina (2018) which includes views of his perfect pecs! Meanwhile on TV, the hardworking hottie steamed up the small screen via The Electric Company (2009-2010), Hell on Wheels (2011-2014), The Lion Guard (2017-2019), and The Tale (2018) wherein Common bares his chest while having sex. Too bad The Tale doesn’t showcase his tail!
