D. Wade: Life Unexpected (2020)

Dwyane Wade takes an Oliver Cromwell kind of approach to this documentary that he had a heavy hand in, giving us a "warts and all" view into his life with D. Wade: Life Unexpected.  D. Wade and the filmmakers dig into his roots on the rough south side upbringing on the streets of Chicago, a mother with a heroin and drinking problem, and how we was able to pull himself out of that with his self proclaimed "god-given" ability to play basketball!  If you've followed the sport over the last 20 years or so, you're probably familiar with Wade as he has been a three time NBA champion and a 13X NBA All-Star, taking home every award the league has to offer and looking damn sexy while doing it!  The best part about this documentary is the fact that this beautiful 6'4" basketball god has had cameras following him since he was a kid, so we get a look at him in various stages of babyface and considering he's still on the good side of 40, he still looks like the kid that was drafted out of Marquette and you can compare with all the footage of him working out shirtless in his hay day that they give you in this one!  Also, as a nice little kicker, they decided to show his workout routine with fellow superstar Lebron James, who tosses him the medicine ball with no shirt on as well.  So, 2016's Sexiest Basketball Player Alive award recipient still looks every bit the part of a sexy icon and now he regularly shows it off in magazines with wife Gabrielle Union.  He might not be balling out on the court anymore, but he sure can fill out a magazine spread still!
