Although David Selby earned theater degrees from West Virginia University in his home state, fate took him to Southern Illinois University for his PhD. If you grew up during the early 1980s and watched television with your mother, you’ll remember seeing the small screen stud on the prime time soaps Flamingo Road (1981-1982) and Falcon Crest (1982-1990). If you go back farther than that, you’ll recall David’s portrayal of Quentin Collins on the Goth soap opera Dark Shadows (1968-1971) and the cinematic sequel Night of Dark Shadows (1971). Decades later, he’d made a cameo in the Tim Burton movie Dark Shadows (2012). Through the years, David co-starred with A-listers, such as Barbra Streisand in Up the Sandbox (1972); Candice Bergen in George Cukor’s Rich and Famous (1981); Julia Roberts and Campbell Scott in Dying Young (1991); Richard Gere and Sharon Stone in Intersection (1994); and Andrew Garfield in the Oscar-nominated The Social Network directed by David Fincher. Mr. Selby also voiced Commissioner Gordon in the animated videos Batman: The Dark Night Returns, Part 1 (2012) and Part 2 (2013). But we prefer a couple of his earlier (and more revealing) roles. In the drama The Girl in Blue (1973), Dave displays his naked T&A! At the risk of repeating himself, the skintastic ator bares his back and a bit of butt crack while banging a lady in Tell Me You Love Me (2007). Despite being nominated for a Golden Raspberry for Raise the Titanic (1980), Dave raises the sails in our pants!
