Doug Robinson is an English actor, bodybuilder and stuntman. Born February 8, 1930 in Newcastle, his father and uncle were champion wrestlers. Doug brother Joe is also an actor and stuntman. In 1956, Doug mades his acting debut in the TV show Before Your Very Eyes and went on to appear and/or do stunt work in icon films like Ben-Hur (1959), Jason and the Argonauts (1963), A Bridge Too Far (1977), the first three Superman films, nine James Bond films, Victor/Victoria (1982), An American Werewolf in London (1981), Batman (1989) and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991). Doug and his brother were once two of the most in-demand stunt arrangers in showbiz. Doug appears in the film The Two Faces of Dr. Jekyll (1960) as a boxer. He's shirtless while fighting another shirtless man in the ring.
