It stands to reason that fans wanted more of Sir Dudley Moore since he stood at 5’2”. Of course, the late English actor and musician used his height (or lack thereof) as a comedic tool. While waiting to see Dud’s tool, we got to watch his tickling turns on stage (Play It Again, Sam), on film (Unfaithfully Yours), and on the boob tube (Dudley). Early in his career, the British babe attended Oxford University where he met Peter Cook. The professional pair made home audiences laugh via the ATV series Goodbye Again (1968) and the BBC sketch comedy show Not Only... But Also (1965-1966, 1970), for which they received BAFTAs! The amusing duo could also be seen in the funny films The Wrong Box (1966); Stanley Donen’s Bedazzled (1967) with Eleanor Bron; Monte Carlo or Bust (1969); Richard Lester’s The Bed Sitting Room (1969) with Rita Tushingham; and The Hound of the Baskervilles (1978) with Prunella Scales. Next came the hilarious hits Foul Play (1978) starring Goldie Hawn and Arthur (1981) co-starring Liza Minnelli. The latter paid off with an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and a Golden Globe win! Dudley received his second Golden Globe for the rom-com Micki & Maude (1984) directed by Blake Edwards. The two previously collaborated on the racy romp 10 (1979) wherein Dudley doffs his duds to expose his tighty whiteys! If that’s not hot enough, the topless hottie flashes his shaft and ass while seducing Bo Derek. Nevertheless, Moore still left us wanting more!
