With deliciously tanned, caramel colored skin, and big strong muscles that would make anyone want to crawl inside and make a safe and cozy home; Edgar Ramírez is the kind of Latin dream that we don’t even want to imagine waking up from. Hailing straight from Cristobal, Venezuela, Edgar’s father was a military officer ,which may explain his impeccable skill of keeping that big muscular body of his toned at all times. Although he studied journalism in his early years, Edgar obviously knew that he was too pretty to stay tucked behind a computer, and switched to acting. After a few bit roles here and there, he made his first waves of fame appearing as the character Cacique Cachón in the popular Venezuelan soap opera Cosita Rica. Here in the US, it was his role as Choco in Domino, playing Keira Knightley's love interest, that caught our attention. Boy was H.O.T. in the flick, sending dozens of us on an endless Google search for more, more, more. Luckily, he stuck it out in Hollywood, and we were able to see him as Paz in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007), Javier in Vantage Point (2008) and Larry in Zero Dark Thirty (2012). Getting real, his shirtless scene as Simon Bolivar in the Venezuelan and Spanish film The Libertador (2013) was the stuff of fantasies, but that was nothing compared to his full frontal debut as Ilich Ramírez Sánchez "Carlos" in the mini-series Carlos. Evidently Mr. Man wasn't the only one impressed, because he nabbed himself a Primetime Emmy nod for that one. With his talents firmly documented, you'd be hard-pressed not to find Edgar in any number of hot Hollywood movies from the 2000s. Too many to list, Mr. Man is just going to go back and watch Domino again.
