New York, New York, it's my kind of town--especially because it's got guys like Eric Schaeffer in it. This New York intellectual's dream come true was born in NYC and graduated from Bard College with a degree in drama, after which he, like many other young BFAs, drove a taxi for nine years. During that time Eric continued to work on his craft, and rose to stardom with his pal Donal Lardner Ward when their independent film My Life's in Turnaround (1993) hit it big on the festival circuit. After being signed to CAA, Eric went on to write, direct and star in several movies, including If Lucy Fell (1996), Fall (1997), Mind the Gap (2004), the short-lived Starz series Gravity (2009-2010), and more. But the best place to get an eyeful of Eric is in his film Wirey Spindell (2000), where he shows us a sliver of his seat meat through the bathroom door. How'd you like them Big Apples?
