Fugue State 1986 (2025)

The 2025 Colombian Netflix original series Estado de fuga 1986, or Fugue State 1986, tells the true story of Campo Elías Delgado—fictionalized here as Jeremías Salgado (Andrés Parra)—a Vietnam veteran suffering from major PTSD who walked into a crowded Italian restaurant in Bogotá one day in 1986 and murdered nearly 30 people. The show, however, is told from the perspective of journalist Camilo León (Jose Restrepo), who was Salgado's roommate in college. Through a series of flashbacks, he attempts to reckon the man he knew with the man who was just arrested for this horrific crime. Camilo (Jose Restrepo) himself has seen some shit in his time as a journalist, and a flashback scene gives us a few peeks at his cheeks when a group of men abduct him and attempt to have their way with him!
