Love Spells (2021) is also known as Amarres in its native Spanish. This Spanish language HBO Max series from Mexico is all about magic and love. A single mother named Ana is having a difficult time in life and love. She has been divorced three times, has gone bankrupt twice in different businesses, and her three children are all going through various stages of puberty. What a stressful time. What is a woman like Ana supposed to do? She resorts to magic to reclaim a mate. She studies her family's tradition of folkloric Mexican magic (brujeria) that her own grandmother practices. Her grandmother Celia was considered a witch locally for practicing pre-Spanish magic. Our leading lady is willing to take the chance and do the same! Hugo Catalan stars in the series. Need we say more? You KNOW that if Hugo Catalan is in the movie, then things are about to absolutely pop off. He is a hot Mexican actor who is known for going very nude and this film is no exception. He is shirtless in a sauna in one scene and banging a babe with his buns out as he tops her in a nude scene. Hugo has a hard time during a one-night stand, so his lover gets up and goes through her purse to find some boner pills. What?! Does she just have those? She tosses the bottle to him and he does not like that. Of course not! Hugo is a sex god who doesn't need help.
