I Love You, and It Hurts (2023)

The Mexican MAX Original Series Te Quiero y Me Duele, or I Love You, and It Hurts, tells of that most heartbreaking of kind of love when two people in direct conflict with one another develop romantic feelings! Juan Gris (Roberto Aguilar) is an aspiring rapper living in Veracruz who has spent his entire life fighting against the rapid development and gentrification of his neighborhood. By coincidence he meets spoiled rich girl Lola (María José Vargas) and the two develop an instant romantic connection that is complicated by the fact that her father is the head of the construction company that is infringing upon Juan's beloved hometown. Hopefully these star-crossed lovers aren't headed for the same fate as Romeo and Juliet!
