Biography

There's nothing wrong with being a working actor. After all, so hot are the dudes picking up checks in Hollywood, that a guy as gorgeous as Gary Hudson can have a four plus decades long career, but never become a star. But that's not to say he hasn't been the star of some of our most salacious dreams. Or that we haven't worked one out to his best acting roles. Originally from Virginia, Gary got his start by making his screen debut in the roller disco drama Skatetown U.S.A. (1979), then popped up in soaps like Dynasty and Hotel, as well as shows like Hart to Hart, The Fall Guy and Three's Company. Not content with the roles he was getting, Gary wrote the pre-Cheers Kirstie Alley led TV movie Highway Honeys (1983), but the backdoor pilot didn't lead to the TV show he hoped it would, so Gary moved on to write the truckers transporting plutonium while fleeing the terrorists who want to steal it thriller Thunder Run (1985). Sticking with acting, Gary often played the blue-collar tough guy in movies, and he brings that specialty to his thrusting performance as Steve in Road House (1989). Steve's a slacker who Patrick Swayze fires from the bar, after he catches him taking a break from work to get himself a little horizontal refreshment in the back room. Gary pulls off his shirt and exposes his rigid abs and amazing frame, then flashes his pubes and lets us see his dynamic rear as he takes the woman he is hooking up with to the bone house. How could you fire him? That's great customer servicing! Outside of playing the Elvis loving Sheriff in The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. Gary found himself in a lot of bad movies like Scanner Cop (1994), Texas Payback (1995) and Bridge of Dragons (1999). The beefy man's man of Mr. Man's dreams, Gary had a long run as Brick Madison on the Canadian soap opera Paradise Falls. Still just as buff as he was as the bouncer, in his later career Gary played FBI Agent Frank Loder on Smallville, Greg James on Blue Mountain State, and Elena's ex-husband in Fifty Shades Freed (2018). He's still acting in movies and TV shows, but you might also have heard his voice in massive video games like Fallout 76 (2018) and Red Dead Redemption II (2018). We'd like to play house, or maybe Road House with the dude we'd like to marry, Gary Hudson!
