Glória (2021)

The Portuguese Netflix Series Glória debuted on the streaming service in the fall of 2021 as the first show ever produced by the streaming giant in the country of Portugal. Set at a radio station in the village of Glória do Ribatejo in 1968, the show centers around radio engineer João (Miguel Nunes) who comes to work at the popular radio station which is in the midst of a crisis caused by the increasingly hostile Cold War. João is harboring a secret, however, which is that he's actually a spy sent to this radio station on a mission from his bosses to attempt to sway the citizens of this village toward their side in the conflict. Of course, this puts him in direct opposition to the old guard of the town who wish to maintain the status quo, making him a man against the world in this fight for his side. As his presence begins to become more and more inconvenient for the powers that be, João finds himself taking a stand, one which is almost guaranteed to put him in mortal danger, especially once the higher ups on the other side get wind of his plan. While we would love to tell you that this Cold War series really heats up with sexy nude content, it's kind of equally chilly. Series star Miguel Nunes bares his buns when he is stripped nude and tied to the ceiling in a warehouse, while João Arrais very nearly shows off his ass while attacking a woman! This is a side of Portugal we frankly never thought we'd see!
