Hot Girls Wanted (2015)

Hot Girls Wanted is a controversial 2025 documentary that either exposes the seedy underbelly of the porn industry or catfishes sex workers into appearing in a politically motivated documentary, depending on your opinion. Here are the facts: Three years after their 2012 doc Sexy Baby premiered at the Tribeca Film Fest, filmmakers Jill Bauer and Ronna Gradus (plus a slew of producers including actress Rashida Jones, who would later find herself in the culture wars crosshairs thanks to Hot Girls Wanted) returned with this logical follow up doc infiltrating the world of amateur porn. Their focus is a group of fresh-faced wannabe starlets who sign with a Miami-based agency called Mofos. What starts out as being easy money ($900 for five hours of work) ends up losing its shine when they realize only a few months later that they’re being exploited and nowhere close to the lives they dream of. In a random celebrity montage, we get a brief but satisfying shot of James Franco in what appears to be a naughty sext. He's clothed, but we still love what we see. Hot Cum Wanted!
