He was born James David Greenblatt on January 2, 1967, but when he became an actor he changed his name to James Marshall. But to fans of Twin Peaks, this brooding, leather-clad bad boy will forever be known only as "James." James rode his motorcycle straight into fans' hearts on David Lynch's cult classic TV series from 1990-1991, and also starred in the prequel movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). He went on to star in feature films throughout the '90s and early 2000s, until severe side effects from the controversial drug Accutane derailed his acting career. His health now improved, James is back in the game, this time as an (undoubtedly moody) singer-songwriter. But as far as Mr. Man's concerned, he hit the high note in his career when he bared the junk in his trunk donning a jock strap in Gladiator (1992). That'll really rev your engine!
