Before the pandemic was a global reality, Jamey Sheridan starred in Stephen King’s pandemic-set miniseries in The Stand (1994). Alas, the California cutie didn’t have the same warnings about his own destiny. See, the all-American guy initially wanted to become a professional dancer. But in the late 1970s a bad knee injury put an end to his dancing dreams while simultaneously lighting a fire for acting. Jamey got his start on Broadway before moving on to the big and small screens. Throughout his career, the hardworking hottie sizzled on stage (All My Sons); on film (Cradle Will Rock, Jumpin Jack Flash, Syriana); and on TV (Agent X, Ballers, Now and Again, Shannon’s Deal). The boob tube babe played Dr. John Sutton on Chicago Hope (1995-1996); Captain James Deakins on Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2006); Dr. Joseph Saviano on Trauma (2009-2010); Vice President Walden on Homeland (2011-2012); and Robert Queen on Arrow (2012-2019). Over the years, Mr. Sheridan appeared in Stanley & Iris (1990) with Jane Fonda and Robert DeNiro; Ang Lee’s acclaimed drama The Ice Storm (1997); the Oscar-winning flick Spotlight (2015); and the Billie Jean King biopic Battle of the Sexes (2017). Yet we’re more impressed with his revealing role in The East (2013). During a night swimming scene, the shirtless stud dons a pair of drenched shorts. When he emerges from a lake, his muscular arms and awesome abs shimmer in the moonlight. No doubt, the sight of Jamey’s wet pecs will have you reaching for a towel!
