The East (2013)

Your head may burst while watching the psychological drama The East (2013), not to be confused with the Hollywood classic East of Eden (1955), the Hong Kong action movie Eastern Condors (1987), the international thriller Eastern Promises (2007), the German pic The East (2020), or the indie flick The Sweet East (2023). This PG-13 production stars Brit Marling who co-wrote the screenplay with director Zal Batmanglij. The plot follows an intelligence operative named Jane Owen (Marling) who is seduced by the radical organization she’s infiltrating. But its not just the politics of the anarchist group known as “The East” that attracts the undercover agent (who now is called Sarah Moss) since the sexy Swedish looks of its leader Benji (Alexander Skarsgard) don’t hurt. Thankfully, the nude dude exposes his wet pecs and moist buns when he gets out of the bath at the 52-minute mark. Rub a dub dub! The movie also includes Jason Ritter, Julia Ormond, Patricia Clarkson, Toby Kebbell, and Shiloh Fernandez’s fab physique! As Luca, the shirtless stud is a sight for sore eyes (and a soft peen). In other words, he adds thrills to this thriller. Not to be outdone, the awesome abs on Richard Cannon (Jamey Sheridan) in skintight bathing trunks will blow you away. All it takes is one glance at this hunk’s built bod emerging from the lake to make a splash in your pants! Even though this pic was a box office bomb, Mr. Man gives its skin two thumbs and one shaft up!
