This sexy rising screen star is definitely making waves over in his native Singapore! Jia Ler Koh only has a few credits to his name, but he has become a bit of a darling in the film world over in Asia because he has been the "muse" for genius director Anthony Chen. He blew up onto the scene as the star of Chen's acclaimed movie Ilo Ilo in 2013, when Jia Ler Koh was just 12 years old during filming. He played a "mama's boy" in Ilo Ilo where his starring turn was hard to ignore for such a young kid playing in such a heavy drama. Flash forward to 2019 and director Anthony Chen is looking for a star for his next project, Wet Season (2019), a story about a young linguistics teacher in Singapore who begins to have inappropriate feelings for a gifted student in her class. She is stuck in her dead-end marriage, unable to have children, and is now taking care of her invalid father-in-law on top of all of that, then enters Weilun (Jia Ler Koh), who has basically been abandoned by his family and is on his own. So Chen reaches back into his rolodex of talent and realizes that Jia Ler Koh is of the right age, beyond talented, and has aged up to be a studly 19 years old who could easily go from "mama's boy" to loverboy for this teacher and he definitely does, making his nude debut in Wet Season, showing off his butt and backsack in a fumbling sex scene with his teacher!
