Based on the autobiography I Am What I Am: The True Story of Britain’s Most Notorious Jewel Thief by Joan Hannington, the 2024 UK series Joan stars Sophie Turner in the title role as a bored housewife who becomes a criminal in the 1980s! Joan starts out small time before continually escalating the level of crime she commits, eventually becoming one of the best and most notorious diamond thieves of the decade! Frank Dillane—whom Potterheads will recognize as teenage Tom Riddle from The Half Blood Prince (2009)—co-stars as her husband Boisie, who goes shirtless to take Turner to pound town in the show's third episode! Looks like Joan likes to bone!
