Joey Bada$$ is a badass rapper and actor, with an ass we really want to see. And touch. And bite. Born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott to a pair of Caribbean parents, Joey grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He went to the Edward R. Murrow School first looking to study acting, but eventually transitioning to music. While it must have been a tough choice for him, about a decade later, he'd be hugely successful in both. Joey was a struggling rapper when he put a video of himself freestyling on Youtube, which blew up on Worldstar, and launched his career. In 2012, he put out his debut solo album 1999 and his career took off. But while he'd acted in high school, the TV and movie industries weren't ready to take a chance on Joey until they saw his work in the short film where he plays a wealthy time traveler, No Regrets (2014). That led to Joey breaking through on the small screen when he played when he Elliot's Seinfeld watching, Kurt Vonnegut reading prison buddy Leon in the second season of Mr. Robot. But while we knew Joey could release a hot track, we didn't realize how hot his body was, until he played Camden Knight on the TV sequel to the 1992 Eddie Murphy flick of the same name, Boomerang. Joey sure looked like the kind of knight in shining armor we'd like to spend the night with when he lied in bed shirtless next to his girl. He's making our boomerang rock hard watching his cut chest! Those Australian Frisbees always come back. We'd like him to come on our back! We saw that chest once again while he once again sneaks out of bed with a woman, when he starred in the Oscar winning short film about a man stuck in a timeloop where he keeps getting shot by the cops, Two Distant Strangers (2020). We'd keep him in bed with us all day, every day. Problem solved. Groundhog? More like Rawdog, then touch each other's hogs, the possibilities are endless. Most recently, Joey has been playing South Jamaica Queens' drug lord Kadeem "Unique" Mathis in Power Book III: Raising Kanan. What a unique talent Joey is. We hope next time, Joey shows his badASS.
