Sometimes your big break ends up hurting more than helping. That might be the case with John Lazar. While appearing a college stage production, the then unknown actor was approached by a casting agent and offered one of the lead parts in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970). The movie would go on to be a cult classic and John was hailed for his intense performance, but the role only served to typecast him and set his career back several years. In the late 1970’s he began acting regularly appearing mostly in lower budget movies. A trained dancer and swordsman, John eventually found himself working in fantasy movies where his dancing, martial arts, and swords skills came in handy. You’ll be getting handy with yourself when you check out John kissing another guy in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. As he lays in bed with the guy, he rolls over and plants a full-mouth, passionate kiss on him. There isn’t much skin, but the kiss creates plenty of steam.
