When it comes to our animal attraction for actor John Savage, movies soothe the savage beast! Born John Smeallie Youngs, the sexy thespian became a Broadway darling in the 1970s when he performed in the David Mamet play American Buffalo. The ambitious ingenue hit it big in 1978 when he was cast in Michael Cimino’s Oscar-winning war epic The Deer Hunter alongside Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, and Meryl Streep. Savage then scored the lead in the crime flick The Onion Field in 1979. Also that year, he played Claude Bukowski in the musical Hair. Based on the Broadway hit, Miloš Forman’s film features Treat Williams, Beverly D’Angelo, and John’s wet skivvies! If that’s not hot enough, the hottie appears nude! Alas, his hands cover his junk. Luckily, we can see his bare chest which, as you can guess, is covered in long, beautiful hair; shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen hair! During the 1980s, Savage shared the screen with Burt Lancaster and Diane Lane in the Western Cattle Annie and Little Britches (1981). He also starred in Oliver Stone’s drama Salvador (1986). By the 1990s, John popped up in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather Part III (1990) and Terrence Malick’s The Thin Red Line (1998). In between, he could be seen flashing his naked T&A in Little Boy Blue (1997). We’d love to blow John’s horn! With the new millennium, John found work on TV via The Dark Angel (2000-2001). Too bad, Mr. Savage hasn’t exposed his naughts in the aughts… yet.
