Biography

A child star who aged quite well, the always yummy Kevin Connolly began his career at age six by appearing in television commercials, including the popular "Betcha bite a chip" campaign for Chips Ahoy! The New Yorker with Irish roots eventually ditched commercials and landed some roles in big movies and TV shows. He bullied Balboa's kid in Rocky V (1990), hit the sitcom scene by joining Tobey Maguire in the short lived Great Scott!, then had a hilarious role as the hip hop loving teen Morgan Drysdale in The Beverly Hillbillies (1993). Being buds with Tobey led to Kevin chilling with Leo, as part of the infamous "pussy posse" back in the 90's, but while Kevin might not have become the stars those two did, he has had a huge career. Millennials might remember him as Andy in Angus (1995), though he's much better known for his starring role as Ryan Malloy in Fox's super strange, run down dad speaks with his talking stuffed bunny sitcom Unhappily Ever After. He was the male nurse Steve Maguire in John Q (2002), and Ryan Gosling's war buddy Fin in The Notebook (2004), but Kevin's career resurgence really came when he reached back to his NYC roots to play Vincent Chase's manager Eric "E" Murphy on HBO's bro comedy Entourage. Though he's older now, Kevin is one of these guys that will still have that "aw shucks" baby face for life. To go along with it is his slightly fuzzy, slim physique which you'll note has beefed up some over the course of the series about a Queens kid hitting it big in Hollywood, and bringing his hometown buddies along for the ride. In the show's pilot, Connolly has an underwear-clad pool scene where he looks good but not in obsessively great shape compared to most TV actors these days. But by episode 95 appropriately titled "Second to Last", Kevin's topless romp showcases beefier arms and pecs with a more compact belly as well. Kevin always found himself in bed with beautiful women, so we got plenty of looks at him putting his pants back on after sex. We couldn't manage to take our eyes off him! After Entourage blew up, Kevin was Padres president Charlie Graham on Pitch and Dr. Roy Park in Chick Fight (2020), but really looked to move behind the camera. Unfortunately, his John Travolta led mob flick Gotti (2018) was a huge bomb. Most recently, he directed and acted in a few episodes of Crackle's crime drama The Oath so we're hoping he may do some more skinema on screen. After all, even if he wasn't a movie star, E sure was E-z on the eyes! One look at Kevin and you'll think he was sent from Heaven!
