Larry David has two first names and no shortage of talent. Born under the zodiac sign of Cancer, the comical curmudgeon made crabbiness cute! From 2015 to 2020, he popped up on Saturday Night Live (1975-present) to impersonate politician Bernie Sanders. And while on a 2017 episode of Finding Your Roots, Larry learned he actually is distantly related to Bernie. With Jerry Seinfeld, David created the hit sitcom Seinfeld (1989-1998) which earned him two Primetime Emmys. By 2010, he received the Laurel Award by the Writers Guild of America. Yet it’s his work onscreen that piques our interest — as well as other things! Through the years, David has appeared in the Woody Allen films Radio Days (1987), New York Stories (1989), and Whatever Works (2009). He’s also played himself on the small screen shows Love & War (1993), Entourage (2004), Hannah Montana (2007), The Paul Reiser Show (2011), Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (2012), and Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000-present). Created by David, the latter series features a satirized version of the star as a semi-retired television writer and producer. As Larry sensationalizes his life, the improvisational sitcom depicts him getting into trouble with friends and strangers over minor inconveniences. Of course, Mr. Man wasn’t inconvenienced when Mr. David doffed his duds to take a shower. As Larry sings “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins (1964), he exposes his hairy chest. A spoonful of sugar may make the medicine go down, but seeing Larry’s wet pecs makes fans’ pants go up!
