Dubbed the first male “scream queen,” Mark Patton was a dream on the silver screen. The Missouri native made his movie debut in Robert Altman’s Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (1982) starring A-listers Cher, Karen Black, Kathy Bates, and Sandy Dennis. Since then, Mark turned to the small screen with a role in the HBO movie Anna to the Infinite Power (1983) and a guest spot on the series Hotel (1986) alongside George Clooney and Maud Adams. Through the years, the boob tube babe also played Tim Kelsey in the TV movie Kelsey’s Son (1983) and Chris Jenson on the CBS Schoolbreak Special Have You Tried Talking to Patty? (1986). Yet Mark is best known for portraying the sleep-deprived teen Jesse Walsh in the slasher sequel A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985). Mr. Man (and audiences everywhere) really appreciated seeing the topless hottie don tighty whities and bulging sweats. If that’s not arousing enough, the handsome hunk has his pants pulled down to expose his round rump! Nothing scary about that! Parts in the chiller dillers Amityville Clownhouse (2017), #StopTheNightmare (2020), Happy Slashers (2021), and Reunion from Hell 2 (2022) followed. Patton even popped up in the documentaries Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy (2010) and Scream, Queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street (2019) as well as the podcast Without Your Head (2020). No doubt, he likes to recall the movie moments when he left a wet mark in fans’ underwear!
