I guess another way to look at it is - If you weren't gay before seeing these ad spot, you certainly were after! Calvin Klein became known for its edgy '90s black and white commercials starring some of the phreshest faces of the decade. But no one became more synonymous with the brand than Marky Mark. In this post we're going to break down two of his completely bizarre yet wholely satisfying ads.
In this first spot, Marky Mark cozies up to Kate Moss while expounding the virtues of his Calvin Klein boxer briefs. As he grabs his cock and balls through his pants, Marky Mark states "They just fit good and they hold me snug." Makes sense. Who doesn't want to be held snug by their underwear. But what he says later in the commercial will have you... well... we don't even know. Mark, seemingly out of nowhere, states "Now the best protection against AIDS is to keep your Calvins on."

Now for his other ad. Here are some of the gems Marky Mark lets out: "I've had lipstick stains on my underwear a few times," "My brother Donnie - he's always got clean underwear," and "My mother still thinks I'm a virgin." Certainly the... spontaneity... of these commercials is what makes them so memorable, but we still can't help but think that they're... how do you say... weird as f*ck. Thank god for that visible penis outline!
