Martin Kemp is a London boy. You can’t miss him. He’s six-feet tall, which doesn’t quite put him up to Big Ben size, but you’d get more from looking at him than merely the time. He’s been featured on his native land’s boob tube, in series such as EastEnders, but is probably best known for his work stateside as the bass player in the 1980s pop combo Spandau Ballet, with his older brother, who was the principle songwriter. His wife, Shirlie Holliman, was a backup singer for the band Wham! But more than a camp footnote, Martin hit a carnal high note in Embrace of the Vampire (1995), where she shows off his musical butt on top of a topless babe and surrounded by his coven.
