Matt Czuchry (that's pronounced "zoo-cree," for those of you who don't speak fluent Ukrainian), had no initial intention of becoming an actor. Instead, this sexy blonde boy went to college in Charleston, where he was the captain of the tennis team and a history and political science major. The plan was to go to law school—even after the professor of his only theater class told him he could easily have a future in drama. Luckily for the universe, Matt eventually took the hint, switched career modes, and lo and behold, was successful nearly immediately. He got a regular gig as Sean McGrail on the TV series Young Americans in 2000, appeared in his first feature film, Slap Her, She’s French (2002), and got to be in a flick with Scarlett Johannsson, Eight-Legged Freaks (2002). He became a charming prince when he took on the role of Logan Huntzberger in Gilmore Girls from 2004-2007, causing us all to cheer on his enchanting exchanges with Rory. Proving he’d grown up, he excelled as Cary Agos on The Good Wife, holding his own with Julianna Margulies from 2009-2016. He simultaneously flashed quite a bit of ass as Tucker Max in I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. And then he reprised his role as Logan in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life mini-series (2016), and got shirtless with a whole lot of defined muscles everywhere. It’s a good thing he went on to play Dr. Conrad Hawkins in The Resident starting in 2018—Mr. Man could use a little resuscitation right about now.
