Everything you need to know about the 2024 Amazon Prime original series My Undead Yokai Girlfriend is right there in the title. Hachi (Hayato Sano) is your typical lonely college student who thinks that the only thing that will really complete him as a human being is a loving girlfriend, receptive to his every need. He thinks he's found exactly that when he meets Izzy (Ai Yoshikawa), but it turns out she's a 500 year old supernatural being known in Japan as a Yokai, and she has bonded herself to Hachi in hopes that his corporeal form will allow her to take revenge against those that killed her all those centuries ago. The series is surprisingly chaste for a supernatural love story, but that doesn't mean we don't get some primo sexy shirtless scenes from leading man Hayato Sano!
