One Last Night of You (2024)

One Last Night Of You, or Une dernière nuit de toi if you're Francy, is a thoughtful low budget movie about a young gay man whose chance encounter with another gay man gives him renewed hope for his future. Evan (Lou-Andréas Robert) is down in the dumps and teetering on the edge when he happens to catch a ride with a stranger named Leo (Léo Simonot). Their meandering, searing, and poignant conversation illuminates as much for the characters as for audiences lucky enough to catch this French indie gem. There's no nudity of any kind here, unfortunately, but both boys do take a second to explore each other's bodies during a pit stop at a river.
