Peter Schlesinger Nude

Peter Schlesinger was English artist David Hockney’s lover and muse, and the subject for one of his most iconic paintings, A Bigger Splash, which captures the breakup symbolically as the swimmer, Peter, is unseen as he dives off the board into the pool, only the white water in the wake of is splash upsets the placid blue water. This affair and its end were somewhat more explicitly rendered in the documentary about the artist entitled A Bigger Splash (1973), where Peter is seen full-frontally naked, pressing his junk against the window, as others eat. He’s also seen naked swimming and sunbathing. He’s a hunky lad. Hockney’s loss.
