Is there anything that super hunk Rafael Casal can't do? We think not. Rafael is a Berkeley, California, native who has proven himself by making a career as a poet, writer, producer, and actor (which is where he fell in love with him). He has had a celebrated writing and creating career, but let's talk about his acting roles for a minute. He starred as John Cook in the 2020 mini-series The Good Lord Bird, Mr. Tophat in the 2019 revival of Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Kyle Contreras in the 2019 film Bad Education. Before that, he did short film roles and focused on acting while he geared up for his major breakthrough into Hollywood. His big break came in the film Blindspotting which he wrote, produced, and starred in as Miles. This was a critically acclaimed film that swept up awards and nominations at indie festivals around the world. The movie was at the center of a major distribution bidding war which eventually went to Lionsgate. He then turned it into a spinoff series of the same name, Blindspotting, which began airing in 2021. He plays Miles, again, who was sentenced to a 12-year prison sentence in the Bay Area. He leaves his son and partner alone as he does his time behind bars, but he doesn't get put away before we get the opportunity to check out his shirtless and tattooed chest. Check out those pecs and that square jaw on this chiseled lug of man meat.
