Randall Park was born in the best place to become an actor, Los Angeles, California, making his road to stardom seem as much like destiny as anything else. With well over 100 credits to his name since making his debut in 2003, Park is one of the most in-demand character actors in the industry. But it wasn't always that way. After graduating from UCLA, Randall spent a ton of time doing one offs, usually playing a doctor, on shows like Las Vegas, Alias, ER, House, iCarly, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. While it seemed like he'd always be a working actor, but never a star, after playing the broish businessman Henderson in Dinner for Schmucks (2010), he killed it as "Asian Jim" in a legendary episode, back when The Office was at the height of its popularity. All of a sudden, Randall was everywhere, from playing the University of Michigan grad student Ming in The Five-Year Engagement (2012) and Rep in Neighbors (2014), to starring as the former jewel thief Jellyface on Nickelodeon's Supah Ninjas, Dr. Colin Lee on The Mindy Project, and even playing North Korean President Kim in The Interview (2014), though he used a body double for the shot of his buns about to take a bath. We felt duped we didn't get the real ass in the assassination comedy! In 2015, Randall hit the sitcom world by starring as the steakhouse owning immigrant father Louis Huang on Fresh Off the Boat. Randall proved he was one fine piece of man meat on that show, flashing his tight abs while trying to be like the buff action movie dudes he thinks his wife is into, getting out of a naked hot tub session which blurs all the good parts, and getting pulled out of a shower by his wife. Luckily, we saw Randall's real deal rump in the romantic comedy Always Be My Maybe (2019), which Randall also wrote, when he dropped his pants to take a piss. He looks over his shoulder to prove to us that those buns belong to his handsome face. Maybe next time you turn around and let us see the front? Randall left the ABC sitcom in 2020, but moved on to playing Jimmy Woo on WandaVision and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), before switching sides to join the DCU as Dr. Stephen Shin in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (2023), while portraying himself after a fictitious career switch to entertainment journalism on Young Rock and Timmy on Netflix's last surviving video rental store comedy Blockbuster.
