The comedy The Interview (2014) was one of the most controversial and hotly debated films of 2014. It even led to Sony being hacked, all sorts of inside Hollywood information being leaked, and the film being briefly pulled from theatres. What was so controversial? The whole thing centered around an attempted assassination of nuke obsessed North Korean leader Kim Jong Un (Randall Park). The film stars James Franco as Dave Skylark, a journalist who wants to be taken seriously, and gets the break of his career when he lands an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un (Randall Park). When the CIA gets wind of the interview, they approach Skylark and his producer (Seth Rogen, who also wrote & directed) with a proposition to assassinate the dictator via a ricin patch. Of course, the bumbling duo behind the celebrity gossip show screw-up the whole thing, in large part because Dave becomes boys with the brutal dictator who's surprisingly funny. Even if the little rocket man was okay with that portrayal, he probably didn't appreciate that the movie ends with Dave taking him out and North Korea becoming a democracy. Speaking of little rockets, your pocket rocket will appreciate the strip search scene, where we get a quick flash of Seth Rogen's penis as the camera quickly pans up from his feet to his face. Later, at the 1:20 mark, Randall Park drops his robe to reveal his buns, though they likely belong to a body double since Randall's not that porky. These guys know funny, but they need to work on their Skinterview techniques! It was worth the hacking for the scenes that had us jacking! The Interview will have you asking for more of that ass!
