Born Clyde Randy Boone in Fayetteville, NC mere weeks after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Randy Boone is one of that first batch of Baby Boomers who headed west to make their fortunes in Hollywood in the early 60s. It wasn't long before the talented actor, singer, and guitarist was landing one-off roles on the various television shows of the time, eventually landing a regular recurring role on the long-running series The Virginian, where he got to show off all three of those skills! Randy mostly stuck to the boob tube, but did branch out into film in the 70s, even making his nude debut by baring his ass in the tub in the kinky classic Dr. Minx (1975)!
