Rosaline (2022)

A cheeky retelling of Shakespeare’s tragic play about star-crossed lovers told from the perspective of Romeo’s ex Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who’s desperate to win back him while simultaneously trying to convince her cousin Juliet to dump him and move on. This adaptation blends modern language and sensibilities with classic roles and period garb. Or the absence of, which we luckily get, for a bit at least, from Rosaline’s potential husband Dario, played by English hottie Sean Teale. He gives us a nice glimpse of his slender, sexy frame when he’s found shirtless on the dock. Parting is such sweet sorrow, unless it’s Sean parting with his clothes. That's actually cause for celebration!
