As arousing as he is uproarious, Rowan Atkinson is such a comic icon in the U.K., he was knighted for his funny bone! In other words, his sense of humor merits a sense of accomplishment. Even though the intelligent Englishman was going after a degree in electrical engineering at Queen’s College, he found himself igniting laughs via a comedy revue. While at Oxford, Rowan met writer/director Richard Curtis and the rest was history since the amusing two collaborated on the radio show The Atkinson People (1979), the TV series The Black Adder (1983), and the Oscar-nominated movie Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) as well as the holiday rom-com Love Actually (2003). With Curtis, Atkinson launched the British sitcom Mr. Bean (1990-1995). Rowan was so popular as the hapless titular character, he starred in the cinematic spinoffs Bean (1997) and Mr. Bean’s Holiday (2007). The humorous hottie is also known for his portrayal of the “little brother of James Bond” in the spy spoof Johnny English (2003). Although the satire wasn’t a critical hit, it made enough money to spawn two sequels: Johnny English Reborn (2011) and Johnny English Strikes Again (2018). The latter features Ben Miller, Olga Kurylenko, Jake Lacy, Emma Thompson, and Atkinson’s fab flesh! No wonder the PG-rated romp grossed $159 million worldwide. During a dance scene, Rowan accidentally drops his trousers and reveals his rump! His back is to the camera so can we only glance at his ass. But maybe next time, we’ll see Mr. Bean’s peen!
