Johnny English Strikes Again (2018)

Espionage spoofs prove to be a killer combination — from In Like Flint (1967) to Hobbs & Shaw (2019). In between, moviegoers have been entertained by Val Kilmer in Top Secret! (1984), Leslie Nielsen in Spy Hard (1996), Bill Murray in The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997), Mike Meyers in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), Steve Carell in Get Smart (2008), Jackie Chan in The Spy Next Door (2010), Jude Law in Spy (2015), and Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English Strikes Again (2018). The latter flick is a sequel to the box office hits Johnny English Reborn (2011) and Johnny English (2003). This time around, the silly secret agent must face cyberattacks and sherbet fountain shenanigans. As with the previous pics, MI7 mayhem ensues when Johnny deals with the British Prime Minister (Emma Thompson), Agent Five (Michael Gambon), Agent Seven (Charles Dance), Agent Nine (Edward Fox), a Silicon Valley tech billionaire (Jake Lacy), and Russian spy Ophelia Bhuletova (Olga Kurylenko). The movie also includes Adam James, Amit Shah, Ben Miller, Matthew Beard, and the skin on Mr. Atkinson! Rowan reveals his comic timing (among other things) when he attends a big event in a suit of armor. All it takes is one flick of the wrist and his pants come down. As such, we can view his bare buns while the people on screen get to see his flesh sword. In other words, the physical comedian doesn’t show fans his junk, but he does display his humorous assets!
