Our Staff Picks column is a new addition that takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version has a decidedly nude angle, as we suss out which films from a certain genre with great nudity. This week: Latino leading men!
Since it is Latinx Heritage Month, I wanted to celebrate leading men who are Latino in films where they carry the bulk of the weight. These guys really shine - plus they do nude. Here are some films that are simply made sexier with their Latino leading men!
Wander Darkly
Filmmaker Tara Miele directed this heart-wrenching drama from 2020 that sadly went under the radar. The film stars Sienna Miller and Diego Luna as a couple with a new baby. The two of them are SO tired and it is making them feel distant from one another. They go out on a date to turn things around, but they fight so much that they get into an accident in the car. That is when their lives are changed forever and the audience has to figure out along with Sienna's character what happened and what went wrong.

Y Tu Mama Tambien
Speaking of Diego Luna, we would be remiss if we did not mention the classic that launched him into the international sphere of success. He and Gael Garcia Bernal co-starred in the buddy film Y Tu Mama Tambien as two besties on summer vacation who go on a road trip that forever changes their lives. The two get into all kinds of hijinks from swimming to mutual masturbation.

Summer of Sam
Spike Lee made a big splash with this film that took place in New York City in 1977 when the Son of Sam killer was wreaking havoc on New York City. He focuses on two main characters, one of whom is played by Colombian hottie John Leguizamo, as the two of them hang out in the Italian-American community in the Bronx whilst a sadistic killer is on the loose.
John and his co-star get progressively loose with their actions and morals in this movie and that is best exemplified by the scene in which John pulls his pants down to his ankles and shows his ass and his backsack. Yummy!
