Summer Catch (2001)

Ryan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is the first local ever to be invited to play in the big-deal Cape Cod Summer Baseball League, and he's trying to strike a balance between his new life and his old in Summer Catch (2001). A talented pitcher with a big future ahead of him, Freddie's also the son of the local landscaper, which makes him "the help" to many of the snooty set who surround him. These society types don't want their daughters bedding down with Freddie. Especially adamant about this is the daddums of the rich, beautiful Tenley (Jessica Biel). Bedding Fred is exactly what Jess wants to do on her summer vacation, and she won't take "No” for an answer. We can see way. Freddie is a babe! So we are sad to say that is a body double’s ass disguising itself as Prinze Jr.’s  home run booty. Never fear, best guy pall and team catcher Billy (Matthew Lillard) picks up the slack with a kick ass sacrifice bunt of a rump! When it comes to the baseball studs of Summer Catch, they’re ready to knock on your wood and round out your bases!
