Anyone who’s watched some television while visiting France (Because isn’t that what you do? Watch TV instead of going to the Louvre?) has undoubtedly been pleasantly exposed to the rugged handsomeness of one Mr. Stéphane Blancafort. Not only a star on one hugely popular TV show in his native country, he’s also been the star of another hugely popular show (rumor has it each has over five million viewers). He played David Canovas in the series Candice Renoir from 2014-2017, where you can see him shirtless with tattoos and some pretty nice lean muscles. While still employed there, he grabbed the role of Paul Marchal on the series Tandem, which he’s played from 2016-2022. Stéphane was actually 35 before he got one of his first regular TV gigs, playing Luigi Collina on the series Plus belle la vie in 2005. He went on to play Yann Cholet in the mini-series Suspectes (2007), then did a bunch of pop-up and recurring roles in myriad series. He found success in another mini-series, this time playing Maître Agostini in Jusqu’au dernier (2014), and that led to his role in Candice Renoir. While TV is really where he shines big, Stéphane has had a bit of success in the movies, too, and can be found in the roles of Flic “De Niro” in Vilaine (2008), the photographer in Mères et filles (2009), Alain in La familie Wolberg (2009), and the IGS man in Mea culpa (2014). You have nothing to apologize for Mr. Blancafort. Trust Mr. Man on this one.
