The Empress (2022)

The Netflix Original Series The Empress, which debuted on the streaming service in the Fall of 2022, comes to us from Germany and tells the story of Austrian Empress Elisabeth Amalie Eugenie, played here by Devrim Lingnau. The series chronicles the true story of how she fell in love with Emperor Franz Joseph (Philip Froissant) when he was engaged to Elisabeth's sister Helene (Elisa Schlott). Elisabeth and Franz eventually marry and upon moving to Vienna, Elisabeth finds herself in almost constant conflict with her husband's meddling mother Sophia (Melika Foroutan) as well as his brother Archduke Maximillian (Johannes Nussbaum), who is secretly scheming to usurp his brother as Emperor. While the series could have definitely used a lot more skin from its male cast, we can't begrudge them for giving us a nice look at Philip Froissant's fantastic ass in the fourth episode as he and his wife get busy by a river! An ass that great is guaranteed to Empress!
