Transatlantic (2023)

Transatlantic is a Netflix bio drama from acclaimed creator of Unorthodox, Anna Winger. This time she brings to life the true but little known story of a heiress and a journalist who helped around 2000 Jewish people escape Nazi occupied France during World War II. Community star Gillian Jacobs plays Mary Jayne Gold, the heiress, named Mary Jayne, while queer actor Cory Michael Smith plays the journalist, Varian. Transatlantic is a timely reminder of the horrors of the past and the importance of doing good in the face of evil. There's even a little man candy here for good measure. As we said, Cory Michael Smith is queer - he came out in 2018 when he was most famous for his role as The Riddler in Gotham - and art imitates life when his character shares multiple very sexy smooches with Amit Rahav! But the sole nude scene in Transatlantic comes from Lucas Englander. He strips off his white tank top to gleefully run into the ocean nude! We get a great look at his muscular backside in broad daylight. This Transatlantic cruise will make you ooze!
