Las Zonas Grises (2018), or The Grey Zones, is a Colombian short film from writer and director Daniel Mateo Vallejo. The film follows 21 year old Nicolás (Sebastian Ramirez Porras) as he decides to get his first HIV test one Friday afternoon. However, he must now wait until the weekend is over to get the results, which is going to put a severe mental and physical strain on him as he's got himself quite a jam-packed weekend. Not only is he getting together with his entire family for a party—a family that doesn't know he's a sexually active gay man—that's going to put his relationship with his family under major duress, Nicolás is also set to meet with two different guys he's been hooking up with over the last year. The uncertainty of his test puts him at a disadvantage amongst both sets of people, his family because he doesn't want them to worry about him and his sexual partners because he doesn't want them to know he's gotten tested. Needless to say, this might just turn out to be the absolute longest weekend of Nicolás' life, one that he'll be happy to put behind him, no matter the test results he receives. We would love to tell you that amongst all of the sorrow and dourness, there's also some hot nudity in the short flick, but it's unfortunately not the case. There is a hot gay sex scene between Sebastian Ramirez Porras and an uncredited dude, but we don't see anything below their waists! Forget the Grey Zones... we want to see their Erogenous Zones!
