The Stronghold (2021)

The Stronghold (2020) is the English translation for the French series Bac Nord. The plot of this show is actually inspired by a true story that took place in 2012 when 18 people in an anti-crime task force were arrested for drug trafficking and half of them ended up going to jail. It was a major scandal! That is the original story. In this fictionalized version that also takes place in 2012, crime is soaring in the northern parts of Marseille. The area has the highest crime rate in France and a field brigade, the BAC Nord, is trying to help. Cops change some of their methods and wind up doing very questionable things. People try to cross the line in the name of justice and crime reform, but it seems like no one in the Bac Nord comes out unscathed as the lines blur between justice and crime. One of the hunks who winds up doing some jail time is Antoine with his sandy blond hair and muscular body. Francois Civil plays Antoine who is our super sexy hunk giving us major French fox vibes.
