Irish playwright and universal wit George Bernard Shaw once quipped, “Youth is the most precious thing in life; it is too bad it has to be wasted on young folks.” And this was before the raunchy romp The Young Offenders (2018) blew up the small screen! Not to be confused with the English comedy The Young Ones (1982-1984), this Irish sitcom is based on the same-named movie from 2016. Under the pen and direction of Peter Foott, the BBC3 series follows the antics of Conor MacSweeney (Alex Murphy) and Jock Murphy (Chris Walley). As was the case in the film, these two teens act and dress alike as they cause general mayhem in Cork to the dismay of  Sergeant Healy (Dominic MacHale) and Principal Barry Walsh (P. J. Gallagher). As you can guess, shenanigans follow suit. Speaking of suits, check out the bulging bathing suits on Mr. Murphy and Mr. Walley in episode 1. The same can be said of Billy Murphy (Shane Casey). If seeing the alabaster chests on these dudes doesn’t do it for you, Chris also flashes his bare ass! In episode 2, Conor and Jock are at it again — strutting their stuff in barely-there swimwear. By episode 3, they shed their threads to show off more of their skin. Even though they use their hands to cover their junk, Chris lets us see his raw rump! In other words, while the show’s jokes pull your leg, the jokesters will have you pulling another part of your body!
