The Barbie movie has taken over box offices, hearts, and cinemas across the country. Barbie is so well cast with a ton of hot men in it, just like we observed yesterday. The men in Barbie are super sexy and they were super happy to be there. This comes to us according to the casting directors of the film, Allison Jones and Lucy Bevan. They told the press yesterday that so many actors were THRILLED to be in the film, like Simu Liu who openly wanted the role very badly. Aw, that's adorable!
But they also revealed that a couple of actors that were approached had to turn the film down - and all of these actors have appeared in Mr. Man. That means that all of these guys have shown skin. It makes me wonder: would this movie have been even sexier if these guys were actually able to be in this movie? Let's take a look at the hot guys who missed their chance to serve.
Allison Jones and Lucy Bevan mentioned that they approached openly gay hotties like Ben Platt, Dan Levy, and Bowen Yang right away. None of them could accept the role due to other projects that they were working on. The casting directors assured us that all of them were very bummed. I can only imagine! This would have been iconic! I mean, can you picture Dan Levy's humor as a Ken? (TBH Dan Levy might give more of an Allen energy.) Or Bowen Yang's tight tush in short shorts?
Ben Platt has even gone nude in the recent past. He could have served bootylicious Ken because we know what his ass looks like after he briefly showed it in a sex tape in the series The Premise. He even had a tramp stamp in the movie which makes us wonder if that's a real tattoo.
I also wonder what his penis looks like because I am always wondering that. He did stuff his package into a red speedo for the Netflix series The Politician. How diplomatic to have such a massive bulge. I'd vote for that!
The best part to me is that Jonathan Groff was initially asked to play Allen. He told them: "I can't believe I'm typing this, but I can't do Allen." Ugh, if only he did! He is happy to do most guys on camera.
Director Greta Gerwig also told the press that she approached actors that she worked with previously to make cameos in the film, namely Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet. She clearly loves Chalamet because she worked with him on both Little Women and Lady Bird. We know that if Chalamet is in the movie, then it's likely to get steamy. That's the kind of charm he brings!
Do you think Barbie would have played differently if any of these guys were in the movie? I'm sure it would have been even gayer, that's for sure. I will miss their Kenergy, but I'm ultimately happy with the hotties in the movie.
