Toxic Town (2025)

While we may like to think we have a corner on the "dumping toxic waste into public lands" thing here in the States, there's plenty of international incidents of a similar kind. The 2025 Netflix original series Toxic Town is based on one such story, set in the small English town of Corby in the East Midlands. When a group of mothers discover that the babies born in their town have a three times higher incident of birth defects compared with surrounding towns, they decide to take their battle to court. With a cast including such acclaimed actors as Jodie Whittaker, Rory Kinnear, Robert Carlyle, and Sex Education star Aimée-Lou Wood, you can expect that this is going to be a riveting watch! While we weren't expecting anything too salacious in such a serious-minded program, we were excited to see Michael Socha strip down to his underwear to get it on with Jodie Whittaker!
