But with his high cheekbones, dark eyes, and stylishly coifed hair, it’s no surprise Utkarsh eventually found his way in front of the camera. Following the coming-of-age flick Rocket Science (2007), the the up-and-comer revealed his sense of humor in the comedies Pitch Perfect (2012) with Rebel Wilson; Freaks of Nature (2015) with Nicholas Braun; Ride Along 2 (2016) with Kevin Hart; and Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016) with Cedric the Entertainer. By 2017, Utkarsh scored the lead role opposite Oscar winner Brie Larson in the rom-com Basmati Blues. Meanwhile on the small screen, he could be seen in sitcoms (Ghosts, The Mindy Project) and heard in animated series (Harvey Street Kids, and Mira, Royal Detective).
