Nothing lasts forever. Take the single-camera sitcom White Famous (2017) written by Tom Kapinos. During its first, final and only season, the Showtime series appealed to Jamie Foxx fans since it’s based on the Oscar winner’s life as an emerging stand-up comedian. Jay Pharoah plays Floyd Mooney (a fictionalized version of Foxx) who tickles funny bones on stage and bones women in bed. Throughout the show’s 10-episode run, we meet Teddy Snow (Michael Rapaport) as well as Amy Von Getz (Natalie Zea), Gwen (Lyndon Smith), Kali (Meagan Good), Officer Smiley (John Lacy), Ron Balls (Jacob Ming-Trent), Sadie Lewis (Cleopatra Coleman), Trevor Mooney (Lonnie Chavis), and Mr. Foxx as himself! Despite the fact that critics weren’t wowed by this small screen comedy, Mr. Man appreciates its sexy situations. In the pilot episode, Jamie lets us glance at his gams and abs. We also are treated to views of Mr. Pharoah’s ebony chest and CGI mound. If that’s not skintastic enough, Stu Beggs (Stephen Tobolowsky) dons barely-there swimwear in episodes 1 and 2. By episode 3, Peter King (Jack Davenport) reveals his crown jewels! Of course, a more accurate description is his prosthetic balls. After a topless Floyd struts his stuff in boxers during episode 5, Malcolm (Utkarsh Ambudkar) flashes his flesh in episode 6. While having sex, his partner talks business — all as Mr. Ambudkar serves up his hot buns! As mentioned, this ass-tastic series was canceled after one season. But we’re hoping for a reboot. Or should we say a re-booty?
